Method and library

Education in the
quality of movement.

A movement library and an educational space to understand how your body moves and adapts - starting from how to move correctly in a single exercise - and to carry that competence into work, sport, dance and daily life.

What this work is

A living library for
intelligent movement.

Embodied Intelligence is a structured movement library that supports awareness, mobility, strength and coordinated action over time. Practices are organised by body region and functional intent, so you work with clarity: you know what to practise, in what order, and why.

It is not a follow-along workout. It is a method you return to - to reset compensations, rebuild foundations and refine the way movement is organised and lived across daily life, art, sport and performance.

Embodied Intelligence brings together guided practices, structured explorations and curated programs designed to support awareness, organisation and continuity in movement.

It develops clarity, perception and connection, and builds a functional relationship with movement. The focus is on how you live in your body and how you move through the world - with precision, clarity, grace and intelligence - so that what you learn can be applied to daily life, artistic practice and specific disciplines.

Chiara Bonvini created and curates it as a method for personal evolution, with the right balance between structure and support, to accompany you through different phases and needs over time.

Why it exists

What they needed was
a deeper foundation.

I saw talented athletes sidelined by preventable injuries, dancers struggling to express their full range, and people feeling trapped in bodies that no longer felt free.

What they needed wasn't just more exercise. It was a deeper foundation.

Embodied Intelligence exists to fill that gap: to offer the tools to rebuild, refine and sustain the quality of movement over time, regardless of background, age or goals.

How this work lives in the body

Not more intensity.
More clarity.

This work is designed to expand over time - not through accumulation or intensity, but through clarity, perception and continuity.

What you learn in a single exercise is meant to carry over into everything you do: daily life, artistic practice and specific disciplines.

As your relationship with movement deepens, it builds a sense of inner stability and trust. A confidence that isn't imposed, but visible in how you stand, how you walk and how you carry yourself into a room.

Over time this becomes a functional relationship with movement: one that adapts, supports and evolves with you, instead of forcing your body into fixed patterns.

This is what guided practice looks and sounds like: an excerpt from the Posture & Ergonomics practice.

The method

How the practice
works.

Embodied Intelligence is built around guided practices that are complete, precise and usable on their own.

Each video gives you clear guidance, attention to detail and specific cues: what to do, what to avoid and where to place your attention. Everything you need to work with that exercise in a meaningful, intelligent way.

The method is deliberately flexible, so it can adapt to different bodies, needs and moments in life.

How the practice works

Two ways to practise

Structure without
rigidity.

Bodies are different and needs change over time. The library is designed to shape itself around you.

  1. Single video practices

Choose specific exercises that respond to what you need at a given moment. Each video is complete and precise, and works on its own.

  2. Curated practice programs

Follow programs Chiara has built by selecting and ordering practices from the library by body region and function, to support broader processes of reset, reconnection and reorganisation.

As your competence grows you can expand the practice - more exercises, more range, more challenge - while staying grounded in precision and quality rather than intensity.

  3. Pathways and specialised work

Dedicated pathways apply the method to specific contexts: Axis & Alchemy for Argentine tango, and Heel Lab for dancing in heels. They draw on the same library and, when useful, add personal guidance.

Who this work is for

A more intelligent,
trustworthy relationship with your body.

This work is for people who feel that movement shapes how they live, relate and express themselves. You may find yourself here if you:

  • want to move with more ease, stability and confidence in daily life
  • have recovered from an injury or pain but still feel prone to recurring limits, and want to rebuild intelligently, for lasting results
  • are a professional performer, artist or athlete who feels stuck and needs solid foundations to reach full expression, efficiency and performance
  • are a movement professional or teacher - including dance and tango teachers - who wants a deeper embodied understanding to teach with more precision and clarity
  • practise a discipline at any level - dance, sport or another embodied art - and want deeper foundations
  • feel disconnected from your body and want to rebuild trust, perception and continuity
  • are curious, patient and willing to refine

You only need the willingness to practise with attention, and to let quality guide the process.

A living practice

You return to the same practices again and again, not to repeat them mechanically, but to refine them. What changes is not the exercise. It is how you inhabit it.

Questions

Frequently asked
questions

Is this physical therapy?

No. Embodied Intelligence is education in the quality of movement: it is not fitness and it is not therapy. Chiara is a physical therapist and her clinical experience shapes the method, but the library, consultations and video reviews are not clinical assessments or treatments. If you are dealing with an injury or a medical condition, keep working with your doctor or therapist.

How is the library organised?

By articulation and function rather than by muscle group: breath and core, lower back, neck, shoulders and thorax, elbows and hands, hips and knees, ankles and feet, and posture. You can pick single practices or follow a curated program.

Do I need previous experience?

No. The practices start from simple movements and progress gradually. What matters is practising with attention: the simplicity is only apparent, because each exercise is a space to observe, connect and activate precisely.

Can I practise at my own pace?

Yes. The library is online and designed for self-paced practice over time. You can rewatch every video as often as you like.

Do I need any equipment?

Many practices need only a mat. Some use simple tools such as a resistance band (TheraBand), a foam roller, a gym ball or a step - you can see them in the list of each curated program.

What is a video review?

You send a video of yourself doing an exercise from the library and receive structured written feedback: your compensations, the biomechanical reasoning and practical solutions. Answers usually arrive within 72 hours. Plus includes four reviews; you can also buy extra reviews.

Can I buy a single program?

Not yet. Curated programs are currently included only in full Embodied Intelligence access. Individual programs will be released later.
