Founder of Embodied Intelligence

Chiara
Bonvini.

Physical therapist by training, movement researcher by vocation. For more than 25 years I have guided people towards moving with intelligence, precision, ease and grace.

My story

Between the clinic
and the dance floor.

For more than 25 years I have explored movement as a path to presence, healing and transformation - a living dialogue between body, mind and breath.

My work is rooted in more than 25 years of clinical and educational experience. I graduated in Milan, my hometown, and completed a master's degree in the United States, where I worked with a European company running five clinics across five states, providing physical therapy in several languages and helping develop professional treatment templates and protocols.

I have worked with professional athletes, principal dancers from La Scala Theatre, internationally renowned tango performers, and adults navigating the art of ageing.

Blending technical rigour with artistic sensitivity, my approach is for people who want to turn their body into an instrument of conscious, expressive movement.

The question behind the method

How can we create lasting change in the body - especially when we feel tired, in pain, or unsure where to begin?

My answer

A growing library,
organised joint by joint.

Each exercise is intentionally detailed, deceptively simple and deeply transformative. The library is designed to:

  1. Prevent compensations

Recognise the strategies your body uses to get around a limit, and stop reinforcing them.

  2. Deepen body awareness

Learn to perceive what your body is doing, so you can organise it with precision.

  3. Rebuild strength and mobility

Through consistency and progression, not through intensity.

Hawai'i

Where structure
meets fluidity.

I am an Italian and US citizen. Fifteen years ago I moved to Hawai'i, where I still live. The islands have become my home and my source of inspiration: the power of the ocean, the energy of nature and the spirit of ʻāina, the land, shape my search for balance and my commitment to living in harmony with my values.

Rooted in my love for water, dance and continuous adaptation, Embodied Intelligence is a space where structure and fluidity meet - where discipline becomes magic.

I am a lifelong learner, a tango dancer, a surfer and a movement coach. Above all, I believe in the body's ability to adapt, refine and express intelligence over time.

Welcome to
Embodied Intelligence.

For artists, athletes and seekers of movement.
